The Balance Vet Rehab Team
~ Meet Your Pet's Rehab Team ~
Dr Steven Denley
BVSc CVA CVCH GradDip ABM
I’ve been a veterinarian in South East Queensland for over 25 years, but my real passion is helping animals move, heal, and live comfortably. My journey into rehabilitation and integrative care began with my own greyhound, Henry, whose severe neck pain resolved only after acupuncture. That moment changed my career—and became my life’s mission to learn everything I could about helping animals recover.
Since then, I’ve completed advanced training in acupuncture, rehabilitation, and biomechanical medicine, and I’m proud to be involved with leading veterinary rehab and integrative medicine associations.
Outside the clinic, I’m a dad of four, usually found in the garden planting natives or playing guitar in a 70s/80s tribute band—always with our dog Ollie curled up under a blanket nearby.
My goal is simple: to bring together science, skill, and heart to help your pet feel and move their best.
