Animal Biomechanical Medicine

That's a lot of words. Try saying it three times fast.

What is Animal Biomechanical Medicine (ABM)? It is a set of treatments which incorporate common techniques used by chiropractors and osteopaths. The ABM course is a 2 year 980 hour course done by vets, chiropractors and osteopaths.

That's all well and good but how can ABM help my pet?

The long complex explanation: (skip ahead if yawning): ABM is a holistic healthcare approach that focuses on the interconnection between the body's structure and function. ABM therapists use manual techniques to assess and treat musculoskeletal issues, aiming to restore balance, improve circulation, and enhance the body's self-healing mechanisms for optimal health and well-being.

The short explanation: We retune the dodgy orchestra that is brain, spine, muscles, nerves, ligaments and tendons and get it playing the best symphony it can.

What ABM provides is much better palpation skills (especially for us vets who do the course) so we can better figure out if your pet is in pain.

Want to know if ABM will help your cat or dog. We are more than happy to have a chat or you can do the short QUIZ below.
